Axis Consulting is seeking a Business Development & Marketing Manager with preferably 5+ years of experience in both the forensic consulting space and Southern California. Competitive compensation package and benefits available. Business Development & Marketing in the Southeast areas will include but are not limited to the following regions:

  • Based on the top 5 most populated counties in Southern California:

    • Los Angeles County (10,040,682)

    • San Diego County (3,323,970)

    • Orange County (3,170,345)

    • Riverside County (2,437,864)

    • San Bernardino County (2,162,532)

    • Fresno County (990,204)

    • Kern County (892,458)

    • And neighboring states as directed by upper management.

Goals:

  • Develop existing and prospective client target list(s).

  • Set 2-4 “meetings” per week. This may consist of phone calls, virtual calls, in person meetings with existing or prospective clients.

  • Further develop client base:

    • Attorney (current company majority)

    • Carrier (first party claims)

    • Municipality (local, county, state and federal government)

    • Corporate (risk managers)

    • Independent Adjusters and Third Party Administrators

  • Cross pollinate clients based in the Southeast to other pre-existing Axis regions.

  • Increase assignment count from client base in region to 10% or greater per year.

  • Assist in other marketing territories, as needed.

Business Development & Marketing Duties (existing and prospective clients):

  • Cold Calling.

  • Emailing.

  • In person meetings (in person or virtual)

    • Office, breakfast, coffee, lunch, dinner, happy hour, etc.

  • Trade Conferences:

    • Designated lead to inquire about conferences and events (below) in your region. Will also serve as the lead attendee to events in designated territories

  • Events:

    • Company events

    • Association events

    • Other industry events

  • Marketing campaigns, holiday gifts and other marketing tools as defined by the CMO.

  • Overnight stays for events will be required, as needed.

  • Develop annual business development/marketing plan and budget for region(s).

  • Develop prospective clients through existing client base.

  • Attend bi-weekly internal marketing meetings

  • Write-up marketing event recap notes.

  • Market Experts in region, by understanding strengths and competitive advantages to communicate to prospective candidates.
